First and foremost, I have to thank Katie & Ryan for helping me fulfill one of my wedding photography dreams. Ever since my husband and I were married at Bourne Farm, I’ve always wished to return to this gorgeous Cape Cod venue to capture another couple’s wedding there. In addition to the farm holding a dear place in my heart the property provides so many options for how clients can use the space and is somewhat a blank slate. Because of this each wedding there is truly unique and special and makes for a wonderful photography experience. So thank you!!!
Katie & Ryan chose to have their ceremony on the edge of the field so that they would have a majestic locust tree as their backdrop. Afterward guests enjoyed cocktails in the historic barn before enjoying dinner and dancing under the big tent in the field.
Each detail was meticulously planned by the bride, along with the help of her cousin who owns Paramount Landscaping. Together they took cues from the property’s rustic charm and added sweet and romantic details like baby’s breath bouquets, and vintage pieces. The effect was magical!
One of my favorite moments of the day was when Katie’s maid of honor told the story of the first time she had learned about Ryan. Katie was in college at the time and her two older sisters had already married their husband’s both named Ryan. So when she mentioned her boyfriend’s name was Ryan they knew it was destiny.
Congratulations Katie & Ryan! Your wedding was an absolute stunner and I’m so thrilled for you to be husband and wife! Much love to you and your pups!
And thank you to Borrowed & Blue for publishing this lovely wedding!
