I absolutely loved working with this family to celebrate their growing family. When planning their maternity session, we had to consider how far along the mom would be in her pregnancy. I typically recommend maternity photos toward the end of the second trimester or beginning of the third, when the bump is beautifully defined and moms are typically feeling their best to enjoy the experience. That meant an August session date, so we chose an early morning time to beat the heat as much as possible and met at one of my favorite locations, Mead Gardens in Winter Park.
Even though it was still incredibly hot and humid, this family took it all in stride. Their positive attitudes really made the experience, and we kept things moving at the boys’ pace. The parents were relaxed, playful, and let their boys be completely themselves, which allowed their sweet personalities to shine. We captured the whole family together, the boys loving on their parents, plenty of sweet moments between them, and a few beautiful portraits of mom on her own.
There is so much love in this family, and I have no doubt these two boys are going to be the best big brothers. I loved getting to document this little season before their family of four becomes five, and I’m so excited for them as they welcome their third boy!
